Lindsey Jancay holds Bachelor of Arts Degrees in both Studio Art and English Literature from Cedar Crest College (Allentown, PA) and Master of Arts Degrees in Art History, Theory and Criticism as well as Arts Administration from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (Chicago, IL) where her studies were focused on the history of publications and print design.
Prior to working for Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites, Jancay interned with the online art database and publication: Contemporary Art Quarterly, and acted as a Collections Assistant at the Joan Flasch Artist Book Collection, leading book preservation efforts for the collection.
Lindsey Jancay has worked at Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites since 2015, where she now serves as the Director of Collections & Engagement. In this position, Jancay oversees site operations, exhibitions, programs, community partnerships, visitor experience, and collections care. Jancay has managed the digitization of a collection of 10,000+ photographs and the design, research, curation, and mounting of over 20 exhibitions featuring museum holdings, private collections, and local artwork. She has also supervised the branding and launch of three recurring programming series: Free Sundays at the Museum, Design After Dark, and The Single Sisters’ Series.
